The Disney Wonder meets the Flying Dutchman over President's Day/Valentine's Day weekend Feb. 2008!

The Disney Cruise Line is the only one allowed to have fireworks.

Our first windmill just outside of Amsterdam April 2008

We experienced our first River Cruise on the Avalon Cruise Line's Artistry

Belgium and the Netherlands were mid-40 degrees during our cruise.

Our week ended at Keukenhof Gardens and the sun felt warm and cheery.
This is another visit of a lifetime. Don't miss it!

Colliseum - Jet lag didn't keep us from seeing this wonder in Rome before we boarded Windstar's Wind Spirit May 2007 to sail the Mediterranean.

Mycenae - The Lions Gate in Mycenae, Greece, dates from the second millenium B.C. This is the entrance to what was the thriving city.

Ephesus - This is the famous Library at Ephesus, Turkey. We sailed for home from the port at Kusadasi about 30 minutes from here.

Sailing from NYC to Canada to see the Fall Foliage on the
Crown Princess - Sep-Oct 2007. The leaves hadn't
changed though due to draught conditions.

This photo speaks for itself!

Alaska - Dawn Princess 1990
Glacier Bay - wait until you see and hear the "calving"
of the glaciers. Unforgettable!

Gibraltar - Globus Tours (Spain) 1999
This strategic point on the globe is only 8 miles from Morocco!
We sailed through the Strait of Gibraltar at night in 2003
on Celebrity's Constellation. It's beautiful at night!

Turkey - Key Tours 1997
Ephesus is breathtaking. If you want to see great Roman ruins, visit Turkey! We saw it again May 2007 at the end of our Mediterranean Cruise on Windstar's Wind Spirit!

Cappedoccia, Turkey 1997
This is one of the most interesting places we've ever been.
We traveled around Turkey during my birthday.

Bora Bora, French Polynesia - Windstar's Wind Song 2002
You can see WWII history here including the work of
the U.S. Navy's Seabees.

Dover, England - Celebrity's Constellation 2003
Morning coffee at the Best Western before embarkation
with our ship in the background.

Normandy, France - Celebrity's Constellation 2003
The museums and landmarks are well worth visiting.

The Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial are
not far from the beaches.
Tahitian Sunset - Windstar's Wind Song 2002
This was one of the most restful vacations we ever had. The sails were raised 200 feet over our heads! Very intimate ship (only 146 other passengers), great crew, wonderful food and memorable excursions.
